Open A Branch

In 2012, Mater Filius extended its model to the United States with the opening of a house in Omaha, Nebraska which has been designated as the training and support headquarters for the United States.

Stage I:  Initial Contact

  • Contact the National Directors for more information

  • Begin the prayerful discernment process by forming a prayer group and meeting weekly to pray for this mission in favor of life

  • Schedule a visit to the National Headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska

Stage II:  Start Up

  • Must have Archbishop/Bishop approval
  • Meet with National Directors to develop a business plan
  • Site location

Stage III:  Introduction to Local Area

  • Begin introducing Mater Filius to local organizations and interested parties
  • Recruit volunteer base

Stage IV:  Training

  • Receive training from National Headquarters
  • On-going support is offered to the newly formed Branch

Stage V:  Follow Up and Support

  • Bi-weekly meetings with National staff
  • Support and training requested as needed
  • Yearly assembly, required for continuing education, collaboration and team development
